Terminal controls redo.
Proposal: group controls into collapsible / expandable blocks / bands.
For example: Look at the Custom Turret Controller terminal. It is impossible to find something here in a hurry.
How it should look:
At the start, all groups are collapsed except the "main controls group"
So it looks like this:
=======================================
[ Terminal Options + ]
[ Main Controls - ]
-----------------------------------------------------------------
[ Block { on / off } ] [ AI { on / off } ] [ Control ]
-----------------------------------------------------------------
[ LCD controls + ]
[ Basic controls + ]
[ Advanced controls + ]
=======================================
Terminal controls contain things like show/hide in terminal list, show/hide on gui, custom data, ...
LCD controls contain everything related to blocks LCD screen(s)
Basic controls contain rarely changed stuff, like rotor/hinge/weapons/tools configs.
Advanced controls contain targeting options
Multiple bands can be open or closed at some time, but when you first select the block in terminal list, all bands except for the "main controls" are collapsed.
Same for the Programming Block. The LCD options obscure everything else. What I need most often? Adjust LCD color or hide block from the terminal? No. I need to edit custom data, run with params, recompile, edit program text. Oh, and please. Change the editor to something more usable. It's impossible to see something there. Look how the mcedit looks. Or Kate. Wide, bold monospace font, proper indentation, may be even syntax highlighting. There are many open source lightweight editors available.
