Bloom setting for lights

With the new 'Contact' update we were given a lot of new blocks and environmental changes/ additions. One of such changes was the reduction of the bloom from spotlights/ searchlights.
Now i'm not sure if Keen realised but I know that a lot of people like to use spotlights for custom 'drive plumes,' and the bloom change has made it so that pretty much every custom thruster has had the desired effect be lessened (significantly.)
All myself and others like me would want is for Keen to add a 'bloom setting' to light blocks to fix this. If you're feeling the same as I do then please support this post, please and thank you.
