[205] Label vs staus on toolbar items
First I have to say the new toolbar actions for rotors and pistons are awesome!
However I'm not a fan of the way the labels were shoved "quick and dirty" into the status area, it muddies the waters for what that text actually means.
There needs to be a redesign of the toolbar where you can have both a label and a status, maybe a vertical toolbar or a wider horizontal one.
Or use different lines on the icon to differentiate between the two, the bottom line reserved for status (and remains a blank line if no status) and the top line for label. And all actions could use a label or use the last 9 characters of the block terminal name as a fallback.
Or something entirely different to any of this that can help players differentiate between the items and not mix the label and status.
Why do I care about status? Because it's already under-used, I don't want it to be gutted out like this.
The game could also improve on them, for example, programmable block could show the first 9 characters of its detailed info in the toolbar status so that you can know what's going on with it, and that can be replaced with "ERROR" if it crashed or wasn't compiled to begin with.
