Reduce impact damage against other blocks or voxels.
If welding a jump drive with a ship with welders you lightly tap it, all superconductors and other valuable components become scrap.
Today while getting a proto ion thruster i touched voxels and lost half of proto plates.
A couple days ago i hit a loose heavy panel and it opened my whole ship like a tin can, destroyed everythingh.
Etc, etc,
I think the blocks we use, based on what they are made of, size and weight could take more force before geting seriously damaged.
And even than their components would get bent, but not destroyed. Just like a car in a minor crash.
Remember we once got damage from floating ores, and everybody used gravity stone weapons, and you fixed it. congrats.
Now its time to do almost the same with block on block, or block on voxel collisions.
