Planetary Update?

I just thought of this last night and I might not be the first, But I think there should be a Planetary Update setting around Foliage, More animals or NPC's Atmospheric Overhaul (Planetary Entry) More random encounters. I'm aware this game is mostly based around space, the Planet's look beautiful but It feel's empty. Not much going on, And too open.
