Holograms take too long to rotate with projector blocks

Hello!

Consider to show the player where should a ship's forward, and upward direction be when the player places the very first block of it's creation, and show these directions until the player ceases to look at its creation with a block in its hand to place. This way when the projector block refers to that ship's blueprint, it will orientate the ship's hologram as expected into the projector's direction. Do not get me wrong, the projector does this thing right now, but the problem is that it is possible to build a ship not regarding these orientations, and it is possible to end up with rotating a projected hologram for minutes.

Another option is to let the player choose where these directions are when the player is done with its creation. For example create a special block that is only good for this purpose - It is going to set the creation's orientation to reflect the orientation of the special block when it is placed on it. In order to do this, the local coordinate system of the ship will have to be rotated while the ship does not move. Although as a programmer myself, i can tell by experience that this is going to be hard to code, so i think the first approach is more easy.

Currently the only workaround i know is to start up a complete new game, and start to build by placing the projector block first without rotating it. Also it might be possible to copy paste an existing ship's blueprint on such projector (that has never been rotated) in the projector's direction, i am not sure though.
