Remote control unavailable on grids connected to other remote control blocks

Desc: When I have multiple grids with remote control (RC) blocks connected to each other with connectors, pressing shift-k reveals that the largest grid "has no RC block", even though it has a powered RC block and antenna in range of the player.
Suggestion: If connected RC blocks don't work with the existing code, it would be nice to have a workaround at the least, such as being able to deactivate (but not turn off, because they need to be re-activated remotely) RC blocks to get rid of the above issue. Though I'm not sure if that would necessarily be easier to implement.
Current game version: Signals update PC
