Eyedropper tool for blocks

Hi, I'm new to the game, it is awesome! Keep up the good work. Sometimes working on a ship or the base I like to look at a block (let's say an armor block, thruster or gun) and from playing Satisfactory where pressing the middle mouse button copies the thing you are looking at I keep going to do the same thing but alas there is no such feature in SE. I know the hotbar is a thing but I'm alredy seeing that complex structures will have items spanning multiple and for some folks it might be nicer to press an eyedrpper button for convienence.
