Magnetic Field Generator
Before anyone mentions it, I checked, and while ideas somewhat similar to this have been suggested I have not seen a post of it in this form
The Magnetic Field Generator (MFG) would operate very similarly to the gravity generator, except for one key difference, it only affects grids. More specifically, only blocks that have steel plates and interior plates in them. the MFG would be incredibly useful for asteroid bases or space stations as the MFG could allow the construction of a grinder pit in space. It is not perfect though, as a few common blocks such as glass, scaffolding, and some LCDs would not be attracted.
it should also be fairly weak (at most 0.2g) and would not work in the atmosphere.
This attraction force would of course be able to be countered by dampeners as well
