Please add an option to change the way movement works on multiplayer

When pressing inputting a movement action in multiplayer, the action does not occur instantly. It's clear that the client waits for the server to catch up first before allowing the action. I'm not aware of any other game that does this.
There should be some way to change this to be like any other multiplayer game. I have many friends who dislike SE because of this issue.
NB: I am aware that interacting with a button, or shooting, can be different, but that is physically interacting with the environment. Something as simple as movement shouldnt have any lag and should have the server behind the client instead of the other way around.
