new thruster type that has delayed activation and is heavily armored

It would be neat if we could get a new thruster architype that has a time to activate, like two or three seconds and is heavily armored/ heavy. It could provide useful for combat ships but not just be flat-out better than other thrusters due to the delayed activation.
The excessive weight would make you not want to slap them in every direction though.
