There's a lot of possibilities with skins that are not space suits. Different uniforms for military, merchant, schientist, and even civil variety could be added.
It's true that the main focus of the game is about engineers that work in space. But the game is played in so manny more ways. We crew transport and merchant ships, drive tanks, trucks and sport cars. We live on planets and build houses. Space suits are often out of place.
Also it's true that there are more important features needed to be added to the game.
But, this could be worked on by a separate developer. And if sold as DLC it would bring in good money.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that would pay for an admiral uniform skin and any other changes of clothes.
