My Plushie Buddy keeps despawning!!! I cant live like that dudes..

So i started multiple lawsuits against my faction mates cause i thought they keep stealing my goddamn cute plushie.. i love your game but without my plushie it feels empty. it was good plushie, very nice plushie. BUT ITS GONE :(
til i noticed they just despawned like soulless junk you leave lying around. i think thats not fair to the plushies they need love just like you and me.
can you please make it so a placed plushie behaves like a landing gear and as long as its docked to something with energy it will be my best buddy and companion and stay a while? STAY FOREEEVEER!
