Velocity visualizer
Hey I have a request idea for a block. The block would be called a quantum accelerometer/visualizer. This block allows a user of a ship to overlay a heatmap of their velocity in any direction. The heatmap causes all objects that the player is accelerating towards to be blue shifted, while the objects they are accelerating away from appear to be redshifted.
So what purpose does this fulfill? Well, there are gravity drives (which are super cool) but when making a gravity drive deep space lurking ship, it becomes extremely hard to judge where your actual velocity is down to a few degrees. Many times, when slowing down, it becomes uncontrollable with the drive because the player accelerates in a bent direction, rather than actually accelerating. A player can turn on their dampeners and use the dampener thrust firing in order to judge the optimal direction to point their nose while braking, but the accelerometer with its heatmap would be the optimized version of this that could be turned on to assist the player with visualizing their actual velocity.
