Move on moon and planets take a lot time. In creative is ability to fast move, then i have idea.

Short range subspace engine for small and large grid in gravity and space for ~30 - 50 km fast move.

No need platinum. No recharge, it use exist power but consume a lot (same plus little as normal travel for same range ?) and it stop when power out. Move principe like in Creative mode fast move, plus some visual effect to hide not complex rendered world. When stop/end in voxel (planet, asteroid), grid, then explode. Move in voxel or grid add for example black screen effect or nothing if loaded data dont know if in fast move is actual in grid or voxel (know after end move). Move on start or end position create 'Gama radiation signal'. Gama signal can see only new grid, 'Gama radiation detector' with range ~100 - 300 km. On start or / and end will be strong light effect and short light way from or to start / end, and moved grid at end stay pure white and shiny until is world loaded. This time will be used for load voxels and grid in new enviroments for the observed and the observer (MP). This emergence on new pos in grid or voxel dont have negative effect for observer mean, grid or voxel on place where traveller to go not be destroyed, only on traveller grid. Coz emerging from subspace make and only this grid more fragile. Surface of that moved grid will be also allways light damaged. New grid 'Subspace shield (Automatic On/Off)' protect grid from light surface damage, but need power too.

This choice travel this way, make player more visible, but also then more agile. And he knows then not move that way too close near his base.
