Autopilot (Remote Control)

1. Sometimes, when deleting waypoints, last 2 are deleted together.

Suggestion: deleting a waypoint should select next waypoint in the list. For easy deletion of several in a row.

2. Autopilot sometimes loses all waypoints. I'm tired, fly by yourself.

3. Autopilot dances near waypoints. Trying to face the waypoint and failing. But still demanding a set of thrusters facing all directions.

Suggestion: Autopilot should use lateral motion when near the waypoints, and only change facing with waypoint is like 20m away.

Suggestion: Waypoints should include direction. For aligning with docking pad.

4. Autopilot cannot normally descend to waypoint at lower altitude, despite demanding a down-facing thruster, even when P-Gravity is present. It moves down with like 1 m/s velocity, even if waypoints are at 1000+m of altitude.

Suggestion: remove the requirement of downwards facing thruster when P-Gravity is present. Also, during vertical descent, autopilot should just cut the throttle and fall nearly to the target waypoint altitude. It have an ability to take in account the craft mass, TWR, thrust-altitude dependency and so on. The hoverslam or suicide burn is well known to KSP players and real engineers.

5. Autopilot cannot handle the atmospheric craft well. Instead of nosing over and using main thrusters to accelerate, it tries to climb with nose-up attitude and just slips back, because forward thrusting thrusters are weak and only supposed to stabilize craft.

Suggestion: Look how the helicopters fly.

6. Sometimes autopilot cannot accelerate to the set speed limit, even if waypoint is several km away and in clear air at 500+m altitude.

7. GPS - autopilot synchronization is bad. Old waypoints, duplicate waypoints, waypoints with old names, etc.
