Currently, the physics in space engineers prevent spin prevent any player wanting to implement spin gravity into their ships or stations from having an enjoyable experience doing so. This deters players from creating a more realistic space experience.

While in spin gravity, the player slowly slides in the opposite direction of the rotation. In addition, any loose blocks that are laying in the rotating surface make sounds as if they’re being put against a lot of stress. Another major deterrent with the current system is that if the spinning surface is on a rotor, the block placement previews above the surface are not aligned with the spinning surface. These issues can be seen and heard in this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=84&v=6DTclLuLfEE&embeds_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.reddit.com%2F&feature=emb_title

I’m not sure if some of the more physics issues will be solved with Vrage3, but I still believe it is an important mechanic to consider. It’s especially important to achieve the goal of space engineers being realistic and immersive.
