Toggle and Recenter Freelook

Hi KSH,
As I put more and more hours into Space Engineers, I find myself using freelook all the time, whether it's inspecting a ship or lining up for docking in third person, or looking out my cockpit windows and checking displays in first person.
However, I suffer from carpal tunnel and I try to avoid holding down buttons for too long, (I tend to turn dampeners off a lot, great feature) and freelook is the one feature I don't have the option to not have to hold.
Is there any way to add a setting that enables toggling freelook with a button press, instead of having to hold down the key? Being able to recenter the view via some method (another keybind, double-tapping, etc) would also be welcome.
