Good day everyone, we have recently came around this game and were positively surprised by the gameplay. We are collegues at work and are looking for some sandbox game to play together, with not real goal, just like Minecraft is, but lets say in a more adult-way. This game is so perfect, that we want to give it a try. We discussed some ideas after we watched some gameplays and decided to summarize it as a tip and we would really appreciate some kind of answer from devs, if these tips are at least planned and will come in future - many many thanks for that.

Please add more focus on planets themselves - give forests, not few trees, but true forest so player can feel like he really is on a planet with tons of CO2 and the nature is living its own life on that planet - with all the beautiness, but all the dangers that can player expect. The holy grail of scifi (with a little spice of fantasy) genre is, that creativity has no boundaries - starting with planet Earth as we know (and progress to more complex and scifi/fantasy animals, fauna flora of other planets), adding animals, ecosystems, more complex landscapes (waterfalls, steep cliffs, beautiful sceneries. Friendly/hostile animals, depending on biomes - that all connected with Scifi universe - e.g. unknown signal from the fallen old ship in the middle of the field/forest/hills surrounded by some of animal (or hostile NPC animal, nomad, pirate, or some other NPC-player-like who can become a friend), that used it as its hideout or whatever. We believe that the true moments that player will remember forever and makes that "run chills down the spine" is during exploration combination of scenery, ambient, music and those little details, creating unforgettable atmospehere. This game has an insane potential and we are so curious and happy to see it still in developent, so some day, these features can be added.

Also, being curious (and this game absolutely supports players curiousity) and digging..down! Whats under damn it! Planets (starting with Earth) with some cave systems, lava danger (like in minecraft or so) or any other - empty spaces, gas, oil, anything (imagination, heureka!), also - adding the Planets core would be neat, the deeper you are, the temperature increases so you need protection. But it can be challenging, for some materials that are that deep, you need heat protection - but those materials would be needed for you to have better equipment for your travels to... space! Mining those material can also require better equipment and transporting it from that deep to surface...engineers, you can have a hard times, what a great gameplay could that be! Last word on this: underground can also hide many new dangers, hostile NPCs, old civilisations trying to hide from... something what once was out there, but they didnt survived anyway.

And once again, when done with "basic" planet Earth, creativity, adding this biodiversity, fauna, flora on other planets, asteroids, huge caves in low gravity - you can use your ships to fly through them (Matrix came on my mind, lol)

All those tips in a very short way: please, focus more not "on space", but more on planets/ moons/ asteroids themselves, what player can find on them and under them. There is a huge potential in this, when you compare it to all mechanics that game has, structures you can build, in this POV the diversity of planets, exploration, fauna, flora, underground - atmosphere of those places is not that good right now as it could be (in comparision to things I have mentioned) and we deeply wish it will improve in the future, this game is awesome...

I would be really thankful for your answer, and please also others, add an idea, what you think about it, because we are convinced that "its not too late", all those things still can be added and taunt many new players looking for atmospheric, ambient, exploration oriented game. People who find awesomness of this game because of its mech, coding etc., their interest would not be affected in any way, it will just attract a new ones and the current ones can use all the structures and game mechanics in combination with whole new atmospheric impression. The current game dev direction would not be affected, we believe (because these features would not interfere with current ones). Wish you all Merry Christmas and happy new year, all the best!
