Suggestion for Projector settings - Building in survival

I have a suggestion for projectors to help with building in survival. I love the 'show only buildable' option, but how about another, additional option that would further restrict so that new blocks are only shown if the first is completely welded. This would help prevent unfinished blocks from getting buried in the middle. I find when welding by hand, you sometimes 'switch' to welding another block inadvertently. And it can be annoying when you haven't finished welding a block, and already the next one is in your face, obstructing your view of the one still being welded.
