Block placement distance should be adjustable in survival

I get that there might be reasons why it exists, but it gets very frustrating to try and place large blocks, especially modded turrets, by trying to precision move my character just so there is enough distance to place it, then it turns out that you placed it sideways or something because it's difficult to see the whole block or where you're even placing it since you're too busy trying to frame perfect your placing position. Third person helps to see where your placing it, but now you have to move frame perfect in third person to be able to do it.
This should be easily configurable at the very least, being able to place blocks in your own owned grids from at least a bit more far away is also good.
