Multiple decorative/ lighting blocks within the same block

Hi Space Engineers dev team
I have an idea ive been wanting for a long while now and that is the ability to place multiple "blocks" as such within the same space. for example to be able to place a light (interior or corner light) a railing or even a control panel all within the same block space. this will help so much with detailing ships and bases along with being able to have more compact areas.
Refer to attached image
here the railing block is placed next to the block that contains the corner light however it would be far more convieniant if i could place the railing within the same block as the corner light. you could also do this with other varius blocks similar to this situation.
