More blocks with limited connection/collisions options (in addition to blast doors)

Currently blast doors are one of the few blocks that only have connection points on limited sides and don't merge to another grid when next to another block. Blast doors are great, and they have their use, but they are also (by design) very heavy.
It would be nice to have a block with connection on 1, 2 and 4 sides that can sit next to another block and still allow an air gap. Updates to Space Engineers over the last two years have made it much easier to create moving machines with multiple sub-grids. Having a light block without connection points on all sides provides more options to have blocks next to each other without clanging or merging.
