Warfare 3: Deployable Covers

Take Deployable Covers from Halo for example, a quick and easy object you place down on a large grid and weld with maybe 1 motor and a few steel plates, small and compact, then when you're being shot at you press a button on the object and it expands out into a shield (energy or physical) that will defend you from enemy fire in one direction. I would love to see this idea visited, as it is so fitting fo the Warfare aspect of deployable cover.
