Small Grid Block Suggestions
1. small rotor cargo transfers.
2. 3 x 3 hatch small grid (as big as connector): this greatly increase options when building a cockpit. if you are having trouble getting your small grid cockpit to merge or pressurize, you could take it off the subgrid and add a 3x3 hatch to enter it instead. this is not possible on smaller builds with the huge small grid doors.
3. a windowless armored cockpit that looks nice inside. it would go inside ships where you cover cockpit entirely with armor.
4. potentially a less explosive ammo box that holds more ammo than small grid small container would, but less than a medium cargo container would.
5. long hydrogen tanks maybe 6-8 tiles long but thin, 2x2 blocks thin (so 8x2x2)
6. a lock block that works like a merge block but its purpose isn't to merge grids, its to lock them and pressurize. grids stay separate.
7. small grid railing (if you do build an elevator it allows you to add railing to it) vs making small grid walls.
