Allow multiple small blocks in one Grid Space
Blocks like Interior Lights, Button panels, Chairs etc. require a full grid space despite only physically needing a much smaller volume. Which makes esthetic building difficult.
A possible solution could be creating some kind of wrapper block when placing small large grid blocks, which handles the connections to the whole grid as normal while allowing multiple "small large grid blocks" like lights and led panels to be placed inside.
These Blocks are not really meant to be structurally sound, I.e. a single button terminal doesn't have much health. The blocks inside that wrapper for decorative blocks could simply add up the hp and connected sides and treat them as a single block when doing physics/collision calculations.
Because the small blocks are weak to begin with things like god armor exploit and similar shouldn't be really possible. Collisions with other grids/Terrain would only need to be approximations with a simple cube or one of the armor block variants collision box.
Or the collision would only start to account for the separate blocks in the wrapper when other grids come near them, collision with the ground can remain a simple cube because then the ship will most likely be destroyed in its enterity anyway.
