Bug with landing gears shutting off grids

I host a dedicated private server for my friends and me, and recently, my friend decided to undock his ship by only landing gears. But powered it on, in the same time, shut off the entire grid. This also includes whatever was on the connectors too. My large ship fell around a kilometer.
He saved a video of it happening. Please, enjoy my disappointment.
