I love pistons, but in some instances they’re too big or can’t reach far enough for my base/ship.
I’d love to see an actual elevator block, as well as Elevator shafts (with and without a door)
Maybe the elevator could work like the turret control block, you assign the elevator shafts that have the door ways as floor levels.

i would like to see that block in-game !
That would allow us to quickly and easily move in our ships, and to avoid clang !

Honestly, engineering an elevator is a great challenge, but it's nearly impossible to do so without clang. A proper elevator block would be amazing.

Imagine how the community would build with this as an option. Most builds are horizontal in nature due to the lack of a proper elevator.
