For this discussion is the simple term of cost for weapons, not building the weapons the cost of ammunition. For the cost of one artillery shell is The same as four assault cannon shells (without uranium) for the same damage... For that much I expect a bigger explosion and for the uranium price greater penetration (which also applies to rail guns). also another balancing act for early to late game, instead of using uranium why not "depleted" uranium as a new recipe. either by spent fuel from nuclear reactors or simply crafted. It will cause a gradual slow down of progression when it comes to weaponry. Also in the case of spent uranium fuel, how about plutonium? as a crafted or by chance; side product of nuclear reaction.
