Another break in the Quick Start Survival

If you investigate the Barn before the contract has been accepted, you do encounter the renegades but you do t get the warning about potential hostiles, you not get confirmation that you killed the last of them, you do not get the voice over after finding the Acquila. Also you cannot add blocks to the main grid of the Barn.
I returned to the Contract Terminal and found that I could no longer accept the contract to investigate the Barn.
Having previously flown to Vallation Station without 'Accepting' the contract and been credited with completing the contract anyway I was slightly surprised when trying that with the Investigate the Barn contract did not work.
I have the same bug
