World corruption, no mods. version 4.0.0.3165

I have been playing through the default starting campaign and after roughly 55 hours my saves are no longer able to be loaded.
I have no workshop content installed.
Logs seem to point to a wheel failing to load properly causing the game to be unable to boot the world.
