Game Crash on warhead grinding

In the SE2 quick start survival I found a renegade base that was partially buried When I got inside there were a number of proximity mines. I went to grind the mine and the game crashed every time as soon as I get the warhead down between about 25-30% health. I can grind down the sound block without any problems, it fails on the warhead specifically. Potentially an interaction between an activated explosion time on a time delay warhead signal and the fact that it is no longer functional when it should explode.
