Inventory visual bug during production

I have been producing gold wire, and I have been watching my inventories that contain gold at the same time.
I have noticed that there is a menu flicker with each new piece of gold wire created, this looks like the menu is updating but producing a very temporary menu view in between the stable menu view for the player.
The temporary flash of the menu view is too fast for me to say what the menu view is showing.
