After the calm, the storm - multi-grid chain reaction

I'm experimenting here to create a sort of chain using solid blocks and hinges. I've managed to place 16 elements, after which the slightest action on the area sends the entire chain into a complete frenzy. It's magically spectacular and unpredictable.
I reproduced these explosive behaviors three times in a row in the video: first, I place a square block as the subject; second, I try to move a hinge; and third, the most devastating, I try to disconnect the connector.
