Inconsistent results when docking with connector and landing gear together

I've noticed an issue when docking a ship with a connector and landing gear simultaneously.
1. If you get close enough that the landing gear is green and press P to park, the gear will lock and the connector will not (even if the connector is perfectly aligned and lit white)
2. If you are far enough away that the gear is gray, but close enough that the connector is green and press P, the connector will lock but the gear will not.
3. If autolock is turned on for the gear, the connector will not lock.
My current work-around is to turn off 'use for parking' on one or both blocks and set that block to manual toggle.
This is not a game breaking issue, but should be fixed for convenient parking.
