wonky power storage

Ive noticed a few times that I can have batteries at 100% charge, dont have anything connected to the grid, I fly off somewhere do somthing, come back and they are at like 70-80%. despite my base having solar and wind farms.
its almost like the power generators despawn or stop working when you are not there to watch them and the stored power just kind of forgets what its ment to be at.
this also happens with batteries that were at 80% when leaving, they will be at 60% when i get back, instead of continuing to charge.
I have the same bug
