Subgrids and Phantom Forces

Over the course of the past week or so I have experimented with using connectors, rotors, and hinges individually to accomplish otherwise impossible angles for thruster layouts and modular ship designs. In this process I have discovered (as I'm sure you all are aware of by now) that there is an immense amount of phantom forces exhibted upon the ship when using these blocks. It seems that whenever an outside force is applied via the subgrid that the physics is being calculated wrong and in such a way that it multiplies the force or tries to counteract the force applied. This occurs with and without dampners or gyros being enabled. I've uploaded a video of my most recent test using rotors and event controllers to try and get around the issue. I later attempted no gyros and no dampners with that same ship and ended up with the same result.

As far as I can tell, there's forces coming from both the actual rotation of the rotor adding inertia to the ship as well as a multiplication of forces applied via the subgrid.
