Interior lights only work for the first minute of game play

I am only getting working lights from the space suit and spotlights. interior lights work for the first minute of game play then dim and stop illuminating objects. they still give point ligt.. also getting issues with the engineer and tool placement with the engineer appearing half way through the cockpit window or tools being held 90degrees from where they should be sticking straight forward and slightly up dont know if these are related. the tool issue fixes on reload.
