In depth mechanical issues about Pistons.

step 1. Place a line of metal

step 2. Place 2 pistons on each end of the line

Step 3. Place block on 1 piston head and drag it to make the line to the other

Step4... Obeserve the issue where the piston head isn't propperly connecting with the grid.

Bellow is further complications born from this "directionality" with pistons.

The Piston you place considers the bottom the origin point, the initial grid which means its the control point. So you can't start by building a pannel or you'll have to have the control seat on the pannel that extends and one on the grid.

So yes. Directionality was intentional here... It truly is directional it rettains in the building order the way it can be used, you can't just flip the pistons either. Its not a big deal on low complexity system but anything with more then 4 moving parts will be a nightmare to build and control as the game currently is as seen in another of my reports.

Not to mention the other issues other users have reported about Landing gears, connectors and connectivity, it severly limits the builds that can be made.

There is also sometimes a shaking that happens on hard manouvers if a piston and landing gear or connector is tucked inside an armor box with 2 small cube width free being my method to minimize the wiggle.
