Was planetary mining, now falling for a really long time
v2.2.0.2113 - Classic Survival feedback world, balanced feedback mod added
I was mining on the planet at an Iron ore deposit near my drop pod. I had gathered around 1k of nickel in addition to a full load of ore. When I went to exit the hole, I unexpectedly fell through the planetary surface See the attached video.
I was flying around below the surface but couldn't find a way out. When my suit reached 20% of energy, I turned off the jetpack and let the suit fall. Before when this happened, I died fairly quickly, but I have been falling for a while now. No terrain visible at all, running the drill is doing nothing.
Roughly 13% of suit power remaining, transited to the night side while falling. I must have passed the planet's core, because my suit dropped from 1116 km/h to 0, and now has reversed direction again. I must have reached the core and started bouncing back and forth. Still no death.
6% power remaining, whisps of something. Looks like clouds, but no idea what they are doing all the way down here. Shadows of shadows. (Seriously, I'm seeing shadow clouds slowing under the white planetary clouds down here.)
3% power remaining. Best start my last will and testament in case someone finds my body in the core. Hmm, don't know many people from the ship. Just Ivan and his brother. To Ivan and his brother, I leave all my worldly possessions. The ore in my pack. The drills that were part of my pod. My collection of Chicken Dance records of all musical flav....
Okay, I respawed at the pod. Player's backback is bouncing 60KM below me. See second video.
I have the same bug
