issue with dampeners

i am flying on a planet with gravity in my jetpack. getting into a cockpit and out of it again. now there's some kind of movement away from the ship like a permanent force. if i switch of the dampeners and switch it on again for some time my position is kept.
This is disturbing if you want to build on a larger ship as you always have to move against while welding or you drift away.
Something similar is happening with my "miner ship". I can not keep it's height even with enough thrusters and power. seems like this comes from the multiple grids (piston and rotor).
Would be great if this could be fixed.
