Blocks disappear when placed on grids + blueprint projection desync issue

When attempting to place projected blocks onto an existing grid, the placed block disappears immediately after placement.

In some cases, the missing projected block can be found floating in space away from the grid. If the floating block is located and deleted, the issue temporarily resolves. However, if the block cannot be found, all subsequent block placements on that grid also disappear, preventing further building.

Additional Scenario (Blueprint Issue):

  1. Place a blueprint projection
  2. Begin building part of the blueprint
  3. Slightly move/bump the grid
  4. Observe that:
  5. The hologram no longer follows the grid
  6. Attempting to build from the hologram causes blocks to teleport to the grid
  7. Building becomes inconsistent and difficult

Expected Behavior:

  • Blocks should remain attached to the grid when placed
  • Blueprint projections should stay aligned with the grid
  • Building should occur where the hologram is displayed

Actual Behavior:

  • Blocks disappear upon placement
  • Missing blocks sometimes appear floating elsewhere in space
  • Future placements also fail if the issue persists
  • Blueprint projection becomes desynced from the grid
  • Blocks teleport between projection and grid during placement

Workarounds Attempted:

  • Locating and deleting the floating block (sometimes fixes the issue temporarily)
  • No reliable workaround if the floating block cannot be found

Impact:

  • Prevents building entirely in some cases
  • Makes blueprint building extremely slow and frustrating
  • Significantly disrupts gameplay

Additional Notes:

  • Game mode: Survival
  • Singleplayer
  • No Mods
  • PC
