UI remains on screen after closing terminal

Summary:
If the GUI terminal is closed with the ESC key while a drop-down list is open, the list remains visible on the screen.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open the terminal and select "Battery."
Open the drop-down list for selecting a mode.
Press the ESC key to close the terminal without selecting an option.
Result:
The expanded drop-down list stays on the screen even after the terminal is closed.
Additional Info:
It is a visual-only bug; the list disappears when the terminal is reopened.
This does not affect game progression or any other mechanics.
