Modding tools: Mountpoints Broken

When ever i add an object from blender mount points don't generate well at all and often wont work even if the block has simple geometry, for instance i keep the area wear i intend mount points to be flat panels, with no collision mesh blocking them i have tried multiple ways to try and fix the problem with no luck .It appears on every mod iv tried to make. if theres a way on keens end to give modders a tool to force mountpoints or make the generator more lenient that would be great its a problem iv heard other modders having so might be worth looking into
