Unable to publish Planet mod due to Asset Processing Validator hash mismatch (no validation errors )

I am unable to publish my Planet mod via ModHUB due to a validation error, even though the project passes all validations inside the editor and no issues are reported during asset processing.

The error shown during publish is related to Asset Processing Validator, stating that asset dependency hashes and processor information do not match the metadata. However, this occurs even when the project is created completely from scratch.

Important details:

  • The project opens and works correctly in the editor
  • No validation errors or warnings are shown in the editor
  • Assets are generated by the current Mod SDK (no manual editing of metadata)
  • .planetcubemap assets and their .meta files are freshly generated
  • Clearing ModHUB cache and recreating the project does not resolve the issue
  • The same error happens consistently, even with a clean setup

Error message (summary):

  • Asset file dependencies hashes do not match hashes saved in metadata
  • Last processor information does not match actual processor information

Because all hashes and metadata appear correct within the editor, this seems to be either:

  • A ModHUB validation issue specific to Planet / World mods, or
  • A known limitation where Planet cubemap assets cannot currently be published

At the moment, this completely blocks publishing the mod, even though it functions correctly in-game and passes editor validation.

I would appreciate confirmation whether:

  • This is a known issue or limitation, or
  • There is a required workflow for Planet cubemap assets to make them publishable

Thank you.
