Selected sectors on map not behaving correctly

I fast traveled to Kemik Station in the Kemik Sector to mine for the rare ores. At first when I brought up the map, the selected sector was stuck on Verdure Sector even though I was in Kemik. Kemik was not selected as the default. I also was not able to select Kemik Sector.
After saving the game and leaving it stuck on the menu for a while, I continued the game. Now Kemik Sector can be selected. But Verdure Sector is still blinking between green and blue as if it is still selected.
If I select Verdure Sector on the map, Kemik Sector stops blinking blue and stays a steady green.
I have the same bug
