Freezes when game window is deselected.

I'm on Ubuntu Linux, GPU is a Nvidia 3090.
If I alt+tab, click on another monitor, or even if the steam overlay displays a notification then the entire game will become permanently unresponsive. The graphics will freeze, but audio will still play. Only way to fix this is to exit the game via Steam and restart.
