Builging from blueprint full scale idea welding

Is it possible to make it so that when building a ship or anything from a blueprint, for example, when you press Shift, you can see the entire blueprint, including unbuilt blocks, and if it doesn't stick, you can only see the blueprint blocks around the finished element, so that you can see what you want to weld next, so you don't panic about which block you're welding or which one can weld? You can get a headache with so many elements turned on at once and if you don't know what can be welded when you're in the middle of the blueprint?
