Not being able to open inventories

Really weird bug I've ran into twice now where just randomly maybe after driving a ship or accessing an inventory or such i am completely unable to open any inventories. Not even that i can't but that it doesn't even pop up with the option to do so. Normally fixed by going to main menu and back into the game.
