Game got stuck on create marker popup

The game was still running fine, but the "Add New Marker" would not close. I was quickly clicking through the map menu, and this is the first time it has gotten stuck for me. Clicking cancel or the escape key did nothing. I was flying toward verdure for the "Hauling: Supply Base" contract on Verdure, and this is the first time I have done either a hauling or an on-planet contract, if that helps. Got unstuck by manually closing the game from Steam.
